Taraba State government has inaugurated a Committee to enthrone a new Emir of Zing, following the death of the late Emir, Alhaji Abbas Ibrahim Sambo, who died in Mecca recently.
The late Emir was one of the hundreds of Nigerians who died during the stampede that occurred in Saudi Arabia, while observing the yearly hajj.
The Four-man committee to be chaired by the Permanent Secretary, Bureau For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affiars, Bello Yero, has the Chief of Staff, Rebo Usman as members.
Other members of the committee, which has the responsibility of ensuring a perfect replacement of late Emir, are the commissioner of Police and the state Director of State Security Service (SSS).
