Final-year students of Taraba State University, Jalingo, have appealed to Governor Agbu Kefas to urgently intervene in the dispute between the state government and ASUU to prevent an indefinite strike.

In an open letter dated September 22, the students said their final examinations are scheduled to begin on September 29, 2026, and warned that a strike could disrupt the exams, delay their graduation and increase their financial and psychological burden.

They urged the government to engage ASUU, address its demands and assure students that the examinations would go ahead as scheduled.
