Jalingo LG suspends N2,000 salary deduction for Code of Conduct Form

Jalingo Local Government Council in Taraba State has suspended its proposed N2,000 deduction from staff salaries for the Code of Conduct Form.

Initially, the Local Government Council had proposed deductions of N2,000 from the entire staff of the Local Government Council just to get them a Code of Conduct (Asset Declaration Form), which is supposed to be free for both Federal, State and Local Government workers accross the country.

Council Chairman, Nura Dantsoho, announced that the forms would now be provided free of charge to all staff, following concerns raised over the proposed deduction.

He said the decision was taken in the interest of workers’ welfare and to ensure staff obtain the required forms without financial burden.

Tinubu approve reconstruction of Numan-Jalingo, Mutum Biyu–Garba Chede, Mayo Selbe–Gembu roads

Kefas Bans Livestock Rearing in Residential Areas of Jalingo, Imposes ₦50,000 Fine

The Taraba State Government has banned the rearing of animals in residential areas and other parts of Jalingo, the state capital, as part of efforts to tackle environmental nuisance, safeguard public health, and maintain a cleaner and more orderly city. The government also warned that anyone found violating the directive will face an immediate fine of ₦50,000.
