Taraba PDP Governorship aspirant calls for peace, prayers

 


Lt. Col. Kefas Agbu (Rtd), a governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Taraba State has urged supporters to remain calm, prayerful, steadfast, and peaceful to prepare a good ground for the party to retain its victorious position in the 2023 general elections.

He made the plea on Saturday 11th June 2022 while addressing a crowd at the Taraba Motel in Jalingo who received him from the Danbaba Suntai Airport upon his arrival from Abuja where he received a certificate of return as the governorship candidate of the party in the state.

According to the PDP governorship candidate, retired Lt. Col. Kefas Agbu he is for the people and will serve them as well as ensure that what belongs to them is given to them.

Meanwhile, he, however, pledged to unite all aggrieved members of the party and bring everyone together ahead of the 2023 general elections to enable the PDP to retain power in the state.

Our correspondent reports that the PDP candidate was welcomed by a large crowd comprising of Deputy Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Commissioners, PDP serving and formers House of Assembly members, party chieftains, different associations, and a large crowd of other supporters of the Party mostly women and youth.

Lt. Col. Agbu Kefas (Rtd), until he Clinched the PDP governorship ticket for 2023 was the immediate past Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), a position that his Deputy, Alhaji Inuwa Bakari is Acting now.

Kefas Bans Livestock Rearing in Residential Areas of Jalingo, Imposes ₦50,000 Fine

The Taraba State Government has banned the rearing of animals in residential areas and other parts of Jalingo, the state capital, as part of efforts to tackle environmental nuisance, safeguard public health, and maintain a cleaner and more orderly city.
