UPDATE ON FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, JALINGO

 



Hon. Aminu Malle, Chief of Staff to the Honourable Deputy Speaker of the House Of Representatives has given update on the bill for the establishment of Federal University of Agriculture Jalingo, Taraba State.

According Malle's facebook post on his wall,  the Bill was transmitted to Mr president for his assent some months ago but was later on return due to some technical mistakes observed by Ministry of Education. The Technicalities were amended and the Bill refer back to house of Representatives and was overwhelmingly passed and sent to senate for concurrence.

Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah!! Alhamdulillah!!!.
Congratulations to the people of Jalingo, Taraba, North East and the entire county once again as the our much anxiously waited Bill for the establishment of FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE JALINGO has scaled through the much awaited concurrence by the senate. Recall that the Bill was transmitted to Mr president for his assent some months ago but was later on return due to some technical mistakes observed by Ministry of Education. The Technicalities were amended and the Bill refer back to house of Representatives and was overwhelmingly passed and sent to senate for concurrence. The process normally takes a long period of time but for the intervention of my principal Rt. Ahmed Idris Wase it was done in the shortest possible time. It is at the moment being prepared for transmission to Mr president for his final blessings. I am in contact with our dear Minister Alh. Muazu Sambo Jaji who seems to have more interest in seeing its fruition more than any other person I met. With such zeal, competence and passion, I believe we are good to go. Let us capitalise on this night of 27th Ramadan and all other days and nights to follow  to intensity prayers. Insha Allah it ll very soon come to pass. Iftaar Mubarak to all.

Tinubu approve reconstruction of Numan-Jalingo, Mutum Biyu–Garba Chede, Mayo Selbe–Gembu roads

By Taraba Facts President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval for the completion of the long-abandoned Jalingo–Numan Road, rehabilitation of the Mutum Biyu–Garba Chede Road and construction of the Mayo Selbe–Gembu Road has been welcomed as a major development for Taraba State. Kefas Bans Livestock Rearing in Residential Areas of Jalingo, Imposes ₦50,000 Fine

The Taraba State Government has banned the rearing of animals in residential areas and other parts of Jalingo, the state capital, as part of efforts to tackle environmental nuisance, safeguard public health, and maintain a cleaner and more orderly city. The government also warned that anyone found violating the directive will face an immediate fine of ₦50,000.
