Confusion as thunder strikes police area command in Wukari, Taraba



The police command in Wukari, Taraba was struck by thunder during an heavy rain on Thursday, June 13
- The thunder struck a big tree in front of the station as smashed it into pieces
- According to an officer, no life was lost or property destroyed during the incident
The police area command in Wukari, Taraba state was thrown into great confusion as thunder struck during a heavy downpour on Thursday night, June 13.
Though no one was hurt, a big tree in front of the police station was destroyed by the thunder, Daily Trust.

Some police officers who were on duty at the time the thunder incident happened said the sound was very terrible as it sent all of them to look for cover.
Daily Trust correspondent who visited the area command in Wukari saw how the the big tree was shattered into smaller parts by the thunder.
A police officer at the command who did not want his name to be mentioned said fortunately nobody or vehicle was under the tree when the thunder struck it.
