I want to use this medium to call the attention of HE ARCH. DARIUS DICKSON ISHAKU, the executive Governor Taraba State, to as a matter of urgency take a necessary steps regarding the lockdown, and the activities of the security agent's in the state.

Your Excellency sir these morning, one woman died at the check point mounted by the men and officers of the Nigeria police force attached to Jalingo Division. Sir the innocent woman together with her son was on their way to the FMC to seek for an emergency medical attention, and the police officers stopped them which resulted to her death.

To cut these story short sir the actions of the Men and officers of Nigeria police force with regards to the enforcement of the lockdown is totally wrong, because if you can give them #1000-2000 naira you can freely drive to your destination, but if you cannot, no matter how urgent your case may  be, you will be arrested and be prosecuted by the mobile court.

As such we call on your able office to reconsider the lockdown order, if we are to go for lockdown let it be a total lockdown. If not sir, free us so that we can move freely. By doing so you have rescue your SON'S AND DAUGHTERS from extortion by the MEN IN UNIFORM.

    Police are not doing well in taraba state because of their corrupt. Even in donga LG we are suffered from the same censorious. Pls government should intervened in the issues

Taraba Begins ₦5,000 Deduction for Teachers’ Permanent Identity Cards

The Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board (TSUBEB) has initiated a ₦5,000 deduction from teachers as part of arrangements for the production of Permanent Identity Cards for teachers across the state. According to UBEC, the identity cards are expected to strengthen staff records, improve security and enhance administrative efficiency in the management of teachers across Taraba State. UBEC further said the Permanent Identity Card project is also expected to assist the state government in developing an accurate and verifiable database of teachers. Such a database will provide Governor Agbu Kefas with reliable information on personnel within the basic education system and support more effective planning, monitoring and personnel management. The initiative is therefore expected to strengthen security measures, improve staff verification and provide a more efficient system for managing personnel across Taraba State’s basic education sector.
