Rescuing FC-Taraba Challenging But Possible - Newest Player


Aondongu JohnFC Taraba’s newest signing, Aondongu John, has conceded that the mission to rescue the club from its recent troubles and get it to where it belongs – at the top of the Nigeria Premiier League log – is a challenging job which can be done, all the same.
Aondongu, who was the star man when Taraba FC played Akwa United over the weekend at the Jolly Nyame Stadium, Jalingo, Taraba State, ran the Akwa defence ragged and had a huge hand in getting his side’s goal.
“When I was leaving Lobi for Taraba FC I knew there was work to do. You get on with it as fast as you can as a professional.
“I only pray that this form continues for me and the team and we can ride on it to get out of our current position. We can get out of our current position, but we have to be ready to know and take our chances as a team. I am here for a reason and the team is staying positive for a reason. It is challenging, but it will be done, by God’s grace,” Aondong said.

Taraba Begins ₦5,000 Deduction for Teachers’ Permanent Identity Cards

The Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board (TSUBEB) has initiated a ₦5,000 deduction from teachers as part of arrangements for the production of Permanent Identity Cards for teachers across the state. According to UBEC, the identity cards are expected to strengthen staff records, improve security and enhance administrative efficiency in the management of teachers across Taraba State. UBEC further said the Permanent Identity Card project is also expected to assist the state government in developing an accurate and verifiable database of teachers. Such a database will provide Governor Agbu Kefas with reliable information on personnel within the basic education system and support more effective planning, monitoring and personnel management. The initiative is therefore expected to strengthen security measures, improve staff verification and provide a more efficient system for managing personnel across Taraba State’s basic education sector.
