Governor Kefas Receives Report on Government House Expansion

Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has received the report of the Committee on Land Acquisition and Compensation for the proposed expansion of the Taraba State Government House.

The committee presented its findings and recommendations to the governor, following its assessment of the land acquisition process and compensation arrangements associated with the proposed expansion project.

The development is part of ongoing efforts by the Kefas administration to facilitate the expansion and improvement of government facilities in the state. The governor is expected to consider the committee’s recommendations and take further necessary action on the proposed project.

Tinubu approve reconstruction of Numan-Jalingo, Mutum Biyu–Garba Chede, Mayo Selbe–Gembu roads

Kefas Bans Livestock Rearing in Residential Areas of Jalingo, Imposes ₦50,000 Fine

The Taraba State Government has banned the rearing of animals in residential areas and other parts of Jalingo, the state capital, as part of efforts to tackle environmental nuisance, safeguard public health, and maintain a cleaner and more orderly city. The government also warned that anyone found violating the directive will face an immediate fine of ₦50,000. Chairman of the Taraba State Environmental Sanitation Agency (TSESA), Mr. Iliya Kefas, announced the ban during the state's monthly environmental sanitation exercise in Jalingo.
