Senator Haruna Manu, representing Taraba Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has facilitated the establishment of a 4-megawatt (4MW) solar power plant for Bali town in Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State. The project is expected to boost electricity supply in the community and provide a more reliable and sustainable source of power for residents, businesses and other economic activities.
The initiative is part of efforts to address the persistent electricity challenges facing communities in Taraba State while supporting local development and economic growth. The proposed solar plant is expected to improve access to electricity, reduce dependence on conventional power sources and create an enabling environment for businesses and residents in Bali and surrounding communities.
