COVID-19: Gov. Ishaku Commends Community and Religious Leaders for Adherence



Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku took to his official Facebook account to commend community, union and religious leaders at all levels for adhering to Government Policies and personal commitments to stay home to be safe.
The Governor also reiterates the commitment of his administration in making sure that all the necessary machinery to keep Tarabans safe are put in place with an upgrade to be done where the need arises because every life is precious to him.
“This morning, I salute all Tarabans for their cooperation so far, in our efforts to control the spread of the covid-19.”
“Your adherence to Government Policies and personal commitments to stay home and safe is commendable.”
“I want to also commend community and religious leaders, and Unions at all levels, that have taken a step further; personal initiatives to educate their followers for the interest of all Tarabans.”
“On our side as Government we will continue to ensure that all machineries put in place to keep Tarabans safe are maintained and upgraded where the need arises.
“Every life is precious to me and I will do everything possible to ensure we pass through these trying times safe.”
“Together we can, together is easier.”

Taraba Begins ₦5,000 Deduction for Teachers’ Permanent Identity Cards

The Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board (TSUBEB) has initiated a ₦5,000 deduction from teachers as part of arrangements for the production of Permanent Identity Cards for teachers across the state. According to UBEC, the identity cards are expected to strengthen staff records, improve security and enhance administrative efficiency in the management of teachers across Taraba State. UBEC further said the Permanent Identity Card project is also expected to assist the state government in developing an accurate and verifiable database of teachers. Such a database will provide Governor Agbu Kefas with reliable information on personnel within the basic education system and support more effective planning, monitoring and personnel management. The initiative is therefore expected to strengthen security measures, improve staff verification and provide a more efficient system for managing personnel across Taraba State’s basic education sector.
