One Year After, Dr Audu Still In Kidnapper’s Den


One year after the kidnap of Medical Director Jalingo medical Clinic Abuja / Board member Taraba State specialist hospital Jalingo, Dr Benedict Sule Audu, his son Iranum Audu, A graduate from Taraba State University and Samaila Akenjimba, graduate from college of Health Technology Takum, their whereabouts is still unknown.
The kidnapping which occurred on the 10th of March 2019 along Takum/Benue road has remained a mystery as the trio have not been released even after collecting a ransom of N7million.
Reports have been made to all relevant authorities but all communication with the missing family members seem to have seized completely.
According to Mrs Habiba Audu, wife to Dr Audu and Mother to Iranum, “As for me, am still in shock following the continuous captivity of  my friend, my husband, my dear daddy as I fondly call him  right after our wedding. Iranum daddy’s best friend in the whole world and mummy’s boy.
“We love you all and are missing you in a way words cannot express. We take solace in God who is all knowing and all doing. See you soon by His grace”.
She expressed concerns over people defrauding the family with claims of having information that could lead to the release of the victims.
Mrs Kezunya Akenjimba, wife to Samaila also said “Akenjiba your daughter Bernice and wife, mummy here in FCT baba  sisters all love you and all praying trusting God to perfect His good work towards your rescue and freedom”.
She called on the relevant authorities not to give up in the search and rescue of the victims as the families still have hope in the system and total trust in God for a miracle.
They hereby appealed to anyone with relevant information to contact the family or the media.

Kefas Bans Livestock Rearing in Residential Areas of Jalingo, Imposes ₦50,000 Fine

The Taraba State Government has banned the rearing of animals in residential areas and other parts of Jalingo, the state capital, as part of efforts to tackle environmental nuisance, safeguard public health, and maintain a cleaner and more orderly city. The government also warned that anyone found violating the directive will face an immediate fine of ₦50,000.
