Prof Vincent has done tremendously well



Prof Vincent Tenebe Ado, Vice Chancellor, Taraba State University Jalingo, has done tremendously well for his innovation in academic and human capacity development. 

His leadership role in the area of innovation and human capacity development in his three years administration can not be overemphasize.

He is focused and work within the framework of the laws establishing the University. He is a role model of transparency, accountability, and openness in the university administration.

He is not ignorant of the fact that; Tarabans and Nigerians are expecting much from him being in charge of a new generation University.

On his three years of Vice Chancellor ship of Taraba State University Jalingo, he is being described by Staff and students as " silent achiever in human capacity development,research and innovation".

He has also done well in terms of attracting research gains to the University, he has gone a long way in repositing the University as one of the best in the country, looking at the previous NUC rating and the present. 

He goes every length to ensuring that everyone is Carried along, he also ensure that the welfare of staff and students remains Paramount at all times, he is down-to-earth and easy to approach.

Recently he travelled to sign a MOU with GIRNE America University (GAU) North Cyprus on students value chain and comparative advantage for economic excellence.

Part of the significance of the MOU to TSU jalingo are:

To collaborate to promote academic and educational exchange; and to this end, to establish an educational collaboration in facilitation of 3+1, 4+1, and 1+1 'top degree programs.

Staff exchange and collaboration.

Joint research activities and publications.

Student exchange.

Top up degree programs, both institutions agree within the framework of the agreement that TSU shall facilitate the enrolment of eligible undergraduate applicants  into the appropriate and available programmes at GAU and the program students shall be required to meet both GAU and TSU administrative requirement.

Your two years as Vice Chancellor in Taraba State University Jalingo, has been innovative and the institution has drastically been reposition for excellence.

Tinubu approve reconstruction of Numan-Jalingo, Mutum Biyu–Garba Chede, Mayo Selbe–Gembu roads

By Taraba Facts President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval for the completion of the long-abandoned Jalingo–Numan Road, rehabilitation of the Mutum Biyu–Garba Chede Road and construction of the Mayo Selbe–Gembu Road has been welcomed as a major development for Taraba State. The approval is expected to address some of the state’s long-standing road infrastructure challenges and improve connectivity between communities, commercial centres and neighbouring states. Kefas Bans Livestock Rearing in Residential Areas of Jalingo, Imposes ₦50,000 Fine

The Taraba State Government has banned the rearing of animals in residential areas and other parts of Jalingo, the state capital, as part of efforts to tackle environmental nuisance, safeguard public health, and maintain a cleaner and more orderly city. The government also warned that anyone found violating the directive will face an immediate fine of ₦50,000. Chairman of the Taraba State Environmental Sanitation Agency (TSESA), Mr. Iliya Kefas, announced the ban during the state's monthly environmental sanitation exercise in Jalingo.
