Taraba State governor, Mr. Darius
Ishaku, has reiterated his commitment towards ensuring the provision of good
road network across the state including the state capital, Jalingo.
Ishaku, who spoke to journalists
yesterday in Jalingo shortly after inspecting some roads within the state
capital said that his administration would start the Jalingo township roads to
raise the standard of the state capital.
He informed that he would carry out the
township roads projects in phases to make every part of the state capital
accessible.
He explained that provision of basic
infrastructure, health care delivery and qualitative education to the people
among others would be the cardinal objectives of his administration.
He added that his government would
continue to work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that permanent peace
returns to every nook and cranny of the state.
“No society develops in an atmosphere of
rancour, acrimony and social upheaval, therefore we must work together to
resolve all lingering crisis in the state,” he said.
He called on the people of the state to
continue to support his administration for the progress and development of the
state.
