Eid-el-Kabir Prayers:Former Taraba Gov appreciates Buhari for sending a condolence delegation on his wife demised

The Former Governor of Taraba State, Alhaji Garba Umar (UTC) in marking the 2019 Eid-el- Kabir celebration offered a special Prayers for President Muhammadu Buhari.

UTC prayed Allah to endow Buhari with divine wisdom,Health and vigour of strength to govern well in the assignment He has purposed him a sitting President of the country.

Umar revealed that Buhari is a leader with a good intention to give a selfless act of leadership to the country voids of all sentiment of sort.

In his prayers, Umar asked Allah to also make Buhari an instrument that He will use to revive Nigeria economy and corruption which the country is known for will take to it's heels in no distance time.

The ex Governor who recently lost his wife,Hajiya Hadiza Garba after a protracted illness,according to him President Buhari as an exemplary leader,father who played a good role by sending a high powered delegation to console him at the time of his bereavement.

Garba in a letter of felicitation made available to Tgnews was read deeply appreciating Buhari for the delegation he sent.

He also thanked the high powered delegation that made up of Sarki Abba and Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistants to the President on Domestic Affairs and Media and Publicity respectively; the Personal Physician to the President, Dr. Suhayb Rafindadi; and the State Chief of Protocol, Ambassador Lawal Kazaure.

While thanking the President, Garba called on Nigerians to rally round him,pray for him and encourage him to deliver on the mandate of the electorates that voted him to power.

Taraba State University Joins ASUU Ultimatum to 21 Universities Over 2025 Agreement

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Taraba State University (TSU) chapter, has joined 20 other state-owned universities placed on a 14-day ultimatum over the alleged non-implementation of key provisions of the 2025 Federal Government-ASUU agreement. The ultimatum was issued following resolutions reached at ASUU’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held at the University of Abuja, where the union expressed concern over what it described as the “haphazard implementation” of the agreement. Taraba Begins ₦5,000 Deduction for Teachers’ Permanent Identity Cards

The Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board (TSUBEB) has initiated a ₦5,000 deduction from teachers as part of arrangements for the production of Permanent Identity Cards for teachers across the state. According to UBEC, the identity cards are expected to strengthen staff records, improve security and enhance administrative efficiency in the management of teachers across Taraba State. UBEC further said the Permanent Identity Card project is also expected to assist the state government in developing an accurate and verifiable database of teachers. Such a database will provide Governor Agbu Kefas with reliable information on personnel within the basic education system and support more effective planning, monitoring and personnel management. The initiative is therefore expected to strengthen security measures, improve staff verification and provide a more efficient system for managing personnel across Taraba State’s basic education sector.
