MINISTER OF POWER VISITS KASHIMBILA DAM PROJECT, GIVES MATCHING ORDER TO CONTRACTORS

Minister of power Engr Sale Mamman has directed all contractors handling Projects in the Ministry to work assiduously and complete them according to specifications as the Federal Government is addressing all challenges to deliver sufficient power to Nigerians.

He was speaking in Kashinbilla Dam during an inspection visit to the project site.
The purpose of the visit he said was to get a firsthand status of all the ongoing projects in the ministry for faster delivery.

Speaking further he added, "Let me use this opportunity to call on all contractors handling our projects to work hard to deliver them according to specifications as we are looking at all challenges in them and very soon they will be addressed".
I am assuring all Nigerians that we are going to deal with all the challenges bedeviling the power sector to deliver enough power to all Nigerians line with the Next level agenda as soon as possible.
The Minister was accompanied by the minister of state Power and some management staff.

Taraba State University Joins ASUU Ultimatum to 21 Universities Over 2025 Agreement

Taraba Begins ₦5,000 Deduction for Teachers’ Permanent Identity Cards

The Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board (TSUBEB) has initiated a ₦5,000 deduction from teachers as part of arrangements for the production of Permanent Identity Cards for teachers across the state. According to UBEC, the identity cards are expected to strengthen staff records, improve security and enhance administrative efficiency in the management of teachers across Taraba State. UBEC further said the Permanent Identity Card project is also expected to assist the state government in developing an accurate and verifiable database of teachers. Such a database will provide Governor Agbu Kefas with reliable information on personnel within the basic education system and support more effective planning, monitoring and personnel management. The initiative is therefore expected to strengthen security measures, improve staff verification and provide a more efficient system for managing personnel across Taraba State’s basic education sector.
