The teenager identified as Dantsoho Zainab Abubakar passed her exam with flying colours - Abubakar is a 17-year-old girl who made distinctions in all her subjects A Nigerian teenage girl identified as Dantsoho Zainab Abubakar from Taraba state has emerged as one of the best candidates to take the West African Examination Council (WAEC) exam this year.

The 17-year-old girl, who attended The Lagoon School in Lekki, Lagos state, passed her exam with flying colours.

She made all As in her subjects, including further mathematics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics. In an interview with The Cable, the teenager thanked God for her result. She expressed that she screamed and cried when she found out she had all As in her exam.

The Taraba State Government has banned the rearing of animals in residential areas and other parts of Jalingo, the state capital, as part of efforts to tackle environmental nuisance, safeguard public health, and maintain a cleaner and more orderly city. The government also warned that anyone found violating the directive will face an immediate fine of ₦50,000.
