AN OPEN LETTER TO THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF TARABA STATE, ARC DARIUS DICKSON ISHAKU



I crave your indulgence for the deficit of time to ignore pleasantries and go straight to the point.

I am constrained to write  to you not in the spirit of hate or disrespect, nor motivated in a way of bias,  but with respect due to your office as the Executive Governor of the state under the people's Democratic Party, and that gives me the right to be following your activities as it concerns politics.

I wish to draw your attention to the following issues that demands an urgent attention :

A lot of members of the people's Democratic Party, PDP are criticising your inability to reward and acknowledge loyalty and party faithfuls, that you do give edge to defectors.

Neglecting aggrieved aspirants who participated in the recent primary elections of the party, may not go well with the party.

Your inability to interface with your appointees either on Monthly or quarterly bases is another source of concern which has weakened their morale.

The grassroots are aggrieved with some of your recent appointees.

Underestimating the opposition is wrong in our political parlance.

Neglecting local government chairman in major political decisions may leads to imminent failure Sir.

Sir, Good section of the youths are not also carried along in programs and policies of your Govt. other than appointments of few that has no significance on majority.

I will also seize this ample opportunity to advise you as follows:

Sir. Kindly desist from those who are in the habit of telling you:

There is no opposition in the state.

That you should not reach out to political bigwigs who are aggrieved with the outcome of the All progressive congress, APC primary elections.

Those who are "over marketing"  defectors while we know some of them has no value politically.

The neglect of your appointees and inability to acknowledge and reward loyalty may pose a big challenge in the outcome of the forthcoming election.

Finally, the opposition you and the party are neglecting are waxing stronger and underestimating may prelude a surprise.

Your Excellency, your failure to address these issues with utmost urgency and consideration may lead to something else.

Your are requested to disseminate till it gets to the appropriate quarters.

Taraba Begins ₦5,000 Deduction for Teachers’ Permanent Identity Cards

The Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board (TSUBEB) has initiated a ₦5,000 deduction from teachers as part of arrangements for the production of Permanent Identity Cards for teachers across the state. According to UBEC, the identity cards are expected to strengthen staff records, improve security and enhance administrative efficiency in the management of teachers across Taraba State. UBEC further said the Permanent Identity Card project is also expected to assist the state government in developing an accurate and verifiable database of teachers. Such a database will provide Governor Agbu Kefas with reliable information on personnel within the basic education system and support more effective planning, monitoring and personnel management. The initiative is therefore expected to strengthen security measures, improve staff verification and provide a more efficient system for managing personnel across Taraba State’s basic education sector.
