Corona Virus: Provide Relief Food, Citizen Writes Governor Darius Ishaku


A concern citizen and member  of the civil society in Taraba state Comrade Mansur Munkaila Jirgi has in an open letter commended Governor Darius Ishaku for taking steps to ensure Taraba State remins free of trending Corona Virus, urging him to provide relief food materials to the vulnerable and the needy in the society.

Comrade Mansur Munkaila Jirgi urged the Governor to ‘rescue’ many Tarabans who lived on daily income, saying the stay at home order is putting many family under economic stress.

The letter reads : “The Lock down of Taraba state to prevent the spread of  corona virus in the state is highly commendable and ward appreciation their fore every step that can stop the spread of the virus is commendable and I want to tell you that the Good people  of Taraba state are solidly behind you on that matter. 

“As a concern citizen of Taraba state I will like  to call on the Executive Governor of Taraba state to as a matter of urgency consider the less vulnerable individuals who are living on daily wages be for putting food on their table, Your excellency,  Taraba state Masses are living on serious poverty and Many of Jalingo resident can't feed their family for the three square meal without going out for daily search. 

I will also like to remind His Excellency on his slogan ‘Rescue Missions’, Taraba residents are in dire  need of your Rescue at this trying moment. 


“I Hope and I pray that the Taraba state Government will come down to the less vulnerable individuals by sharing their God Giving resources to the needy,”  Mansur Munkaila Jirgi writes.

Kefas Bans Livestock Rearing in Residential Areas of Jalingo, Imposes ₦50,000 Fine

The Taraba State Government has banned the rearing of animals in residential areas and other parts of Jalingo, the state capital, as part of efforts to tackle environmental nuisance, safeguard public health, and maintain a cleaner and more orderly city.
