Dr. Aisha Shehu Adamu the Substantive God Appointed MD, Federal Medical Centre Jalingo Taraba State is Wurkun by Tribe NOT Fulani



First and foremost I write to counter the blatant lies by one Jerrywright Ukwu/unidentified elders of Taraba State that Dr. Aisha Shehu Adamu is Fulani by tribe.

Secondary, i want to say without hesitation that the name 'jerrywright Ukwu' does not resemble name of any ethnic group from Taraba and so, we should not allow non indigenes,  ethnicity, sectionalism and religious sentiments to override our IQ in judging fundamental issues of any kind. Furthermore, it doesn't matter who lead in any organization but how well can he/she leads for the betterment of our society. 
Thirdly, it is the prerogative of President Muhammadu Buhari to appoint the most Senior and qualified from the professional point of view, seniority and administrative versatility. It is important to mention that both of the contestants got distinctions and this has vindicated PMB for appointing Dr. Aisha in Preference to her counterparts as the most senior Consultant and Physician from the hospital (Federal Medical Centre Jalingo).
I want to also say that the intended write up is not a petition but baseless because it is the prerogative of President Muhammadu Buhari to act on such matter and if any reasonable person wish to petition anyone then it should be PMB not Dr. Aisha because she is qualified like her contending counterparts who sat for the exams and passed.
I pledge to fellow Tarabans to join hands with our newly appointed MD Dr. Aisha Shehu Adamu in order make our health sector functional to provide all necessary medical relief to Tarabans through the effort of the FGN.
Finally, I am Wurkun by tribe and Dr. Aisha Shehu Adamu is Wurkun not Fulani by tribe and she is married to a Kona by tribe both of whom are ethnic groups from Taraba State. So, we should not allow ethnicity, sectionalism and religious sentiments to override our development, unity and prosperity.

Taraba Begins ₦5,000 Deduction for Teachers’ Permanent Identity Cards

The Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board (TSUBEB) has initiated a ₦5,000 deduction from teachers as part of arrangements for the production of Permanent Identity Cards for teachers across the state. According to UBEC, the identity cards are expected to strengthen staff records, improve security and enhance administrative efficiency in the management of teachers across Taraba State. UBEC further said the Permanent Identity Card project is also expected to assist the state government in developing an accurate and verifiable database of teachers. Such a database will provide Governor Agbu Kefas with reliable information on personnel within the basic education system and support more effective planning, monitoring and personnel management. The initiative is therefore expected to strengthen security measures, improve staff verification and provide a more efficient system for managing personnel across Taraba State’s basic education sector.
