TARABA STATE COVID-19 TECHNICAL COMMITTEE INSPECTS THE INTERCEPTED TRAVELERS AT THE QUARANTINE CENTRE.



The Commissioner, Taraba State Ministry for Urban Development, Hon. Saleh Sa'ad alongside other members of Taraba State Covid-19 Technical Committee has earlier today inspected the intercepted travelers at the quarantine centre.

The travelers were intercepted by Taraba State covid-19 task force members in collaboration with the security operatives along the boundaries of the state. The travelers were coming back to Taraba from Kano, Jigawa, Bauchi, Yobe and Ogun States.


It could be vividly recalled that, the travelers were coming from the states with confirmed cases of novel coronavirus, and based on the guidelines of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), any person coming from a location with confirmed covid-19 case(s) must be quarantined for the period of two weeks, as such the travelers were all quarantined.

Meanwhile, the committee has already taken care of there well being and other logistics for the quarantine period, hence they will all be tested while under quarantine.

The delegation was led by the chairman of Taraba State Covid-19 technical committee, the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Innocent Vakkai.

Kefas Bans Livestock Rearing in Residential Areas of Jalingo, Imposes ₦50,000 Fine

The Taraba State Government has banned the rearing of animals in residential areas and other parts of Jalingo, the state capital, as part of efforts to tackle environmental nuisance, safeguard public health, and maintain a cleaner and more orderly city.
